The Walls by STRAWTEC - The Evolution in Construction
Space Saving
With a width of just 58mm, installation of The?WALL allows developers and investors to optimize the available floor space for their project.
Put into context, installation of the Wall as an alternative to cement blocks will add up to 5% in usable floor space by reducing the thickness of the partitioning walls.
Secure Supply Chain
Construction costs in Rwanda are high, with most building materials currently being imported (i.e. cement, gypsum board). The wall modules used in construction of The ?WALL are manufactured within Rwanda using locally sourced raw materials, thereby greatly reducing the risks of delays of material delivery to the site. This also leads to import substitution and an improved balance of trade for Rwanda.
Reduced Structural Requirements
With 22kg/m2 and a density of 380kg/m3, The Wall offers a lightweight solution, which leads to savings with reduced structural requirements for the building.
The Carbon Neutral Solution
The  wall  is the only ‘green’ modular wall system manufactured in the region with around 95% of our raw materials being locally sourced.

Embodied Carbon Emissions are significantly lower for The WALL compared to  conventional  construction material. Taking into consideration the carbon sequestered as part of a life cycle analysis, the carbon emissions for the wall modules is negative, resulting in a positive  impact on global climate change.
